How does Queen Status work?

Once you have found the perfect dress simply use the calendar to place your booking. Select your size and then choose the date of your event. We will ensure your dress arrives to you 1-2 days before your event. You can select to have the dress posted to you or to pick up at our Perth store. All hires include a free return express satchel to post the dress back in. If you are unsure if a particular dress is available or not please email us at hello@queenstatus.com.au.

When is the Perth store open?

Our Perth dress hire studio is currently open Tuesday 10am - 6pm, Thursdays 10am - 6pm, Fridays from 9am – 4pm and Saturdays from 10am- 3pm. We can arrange try ons on Monday and Sunday by appointment.

Can I try the dresses on?

Yes of course! Our Perth store is open to the public for try ons.

How long can I hire a dress for?

Bookings can be made for 3 days. The first day of your booking is the day you have booked from (this can be the event day) and the final day is the day the dress needs to be posted back. We will have the dress to you before your booking begins. 

Do I have to clean the dress?

No, we take care of the cleaning for you! Simply place your dress into the pre-paid package and drop it at your local Post Office to be scanned.

What if I damage the dress?

We understand that accidents happen, and as such we provide free $100 insurance for peace of mind. If you do damage the dress in any way please contact us immediately (hello@queenstatus.com.au). If the dress is not repairable, unfortunately, you will be charged 200% replacement value of the dress; as per the RRP amount on our website.

What if I need to change or cancel my order?

If you need to cancel your order or make any changes please email hello@queenstaus.com.au. We can make changes to orders if they haven’t already been shipped. Any cancellations will be entitled to a credit note valid for 12 months.


DELIVERY

Do I have to sign for my order?

No you don’t. We mark all parcels as authority to leave, if you require your parcel to be signed for please make sure to include this in the delivery instructions at checkout.

How much does delivery cost?

Express Delivery Aus wide is a flat $20 rate.

I would like to order a dress last minute, will I receive it in time for the weekend!

Do not worry – we are the queens of last minute party prep here! Orders placed before 3pm (AWST) will be dispatched that day for next day delivery to metropolitan areas located within Australia Post’s next day network. Areas outside of this network will take 2-3 days to be delivered. There is always the option to pick up the dress at our Perth store. Please note, any delay caused by Australia Post is not the responsibility of Queen Status.

How long will my dress take to be delivered?

The estimated standard delivery time is 1-2 business days- depending on your location.


RETURNS

How do I return my dress?

Simply place your dress in the return pre-paid satchel included in your order and lodge over the counter at an Australia Post Outlet by 4pm on your return date.

What if I return my dress late?

We rely heavily on timely returns; by posting your dress back late you are potentially inconveniencing another customer. No one wants to be left without a dress so please make sure you return your dress on time! If you return your item(s) late you will incur a thirty dollar ($30.00) late fee for every day you are late up to 200% of the retail value of the dress as indicated on our website. If you are unable to post your item(s) back by 4pm on your return date please contact us at hello@queenstatus.com.au.

What do I do if I have lost my return satchel?

If you have lost your return satchel, it is your responsibility to send the order back to us via Express Post by the due date at your own expense. Please make sure to forward on tracking details. Our return address is 167 Fitzgerald St, West Perth WA 6005.

What if my hire ends on a Sunday or public or holiday?

Simply return your dress to an Australia Post Outlet by 4pm the following business day.
